Regular attendance will slowly but surely build the all-important human-nature connections.

Make Space

The Make Space programme is for young people between the ages of 14 and 18 years.

This programme runs in blocks of 6 weeks at a time.

We are living in a society where young people often feel vulnerable,  left out, anxious & misunderstood.

Oakey Wood offers a sanctuary for small groups of no more than six, where nature-based education and practical conservation skills-building will help to develop emotional resilience, social skills & behaviour, & individual unique interests & capabilities.

This programme may be suitable for young people who are not attending school or further education on a full-time basis. This programme cannot replace any mainstream educational course of learning, it is complementary to any additional learning.

The programme leader will talk through any queries you may have, and will meet the young person prior to them joining a 6-week programme.

£15 per young person

Includes all materials & resources, tea, coffee and cool drinks
